Funktion: Vendor Assurance Manager, seasoning, coating and oil Division: International Procurement Location of work: Europe The function in detail: Organizationally the function belongs to the Procurement division and reports to the Vendor Assurance and development manager of our client. The function holder works internally together with her/his colleagues in R&D, Marketing/Sales, Production and Procurement but also with external material suppliers and external developers. The function requires a great deal of travelling up to 50% mainly within Europe. Scope of the function Specification management, quality assurance, audits and driving improvement in relevant supply chain Coating / seasoning application (enabling sensory profiles as defined in golden standards) • Counterpart to suppliers regarding composition and functionality of ingredients. Must be able to safeguard performance despite changing supply chain of the ingredients of the supplier • Management of critical ingredients regarding sensory and functional aspects (including allergen management). • Improve seasonings / coatings and their application to our base bodies in order ensure the defined golden standards (minimum tolerances). • Support application technology in factory (including yield/material balance). Oil application • Counterpart to suppliers regarding composition and functionality of oil and oil components especially in deep frying operations. Must be able to safeguard performance despite changing supply chain of raw materials of supplier. • Management of critical components regarding sensory and functional aspects during our supply chain (including processing and shelf life of our final products). • Support the improvement of oil application to our base bodies in order to ensure the defined golden standards. Qualification Technical background with a university degree (minimum on master level) in food technology/chemistry. Several years professional experience in application technology (R&D, Marketing exposure, Supply chain) in an international environment Preferable industry experience from manufacturing companies, ideally in the FMCG, and has a good understanding of the customer side and the complete valu
