SALES REPRESENTATIVE (EMEA MARKETS)*
We are looking for Sales professional with extensive experience in international business with over 5 years of successful sales leadership in developing and expanding regional and national accounts in the meat industry as well as deep insight into flexible film, artificial casings and packaging products utilized by the meat, poultry and dairy industry. Consistently earned top ranks in sales performance by bringing revenues, market share and capitalizing on market opportunities
Reporting directly to the Chief of Sales & Marketing Department at company's headquarters abroad, the mission will be:
- Implementation of sales and marketing strategy and tactics to launch new products in the African market,
- Providing leadership to the company and assistance in researching, identifying, and effectively targeting new business opportunities, fueling revenue generation and corporate growth, evaluating a product’s potential in a given market and launching products globally,
- Introduction and development of the company’s brand strategy in the African market, improving brand recognition and awareness in the region,
- Development accounts in the assigned territory with projected growth with a focus on targeted sales to high and mid-level executives of African meat processing companies, and translate into direct sales according to annual sales plan for the African market,
- Establishment long-term personal relationships with key national accounts to maintain a high customer retention rate while growing these existing accounts with additional incremental sales,
- Collaboration with distributors in the assigned territory,
- Ensure high levels of Customer service,
- Determine pricing, delivery dates and account sales targets within the annual sales plan,
- Involvement in new products development and assistance to R&D department,
- Conducting market intelligence, including effective market research and the appropriate competitive analysis,
- Design and execute a long term marketing, communications and public relations strategy for the region, including the positioning of the Company in the flexible packaging industry in the assigned territory,
- Development, planning and executing media, online, advertising, and promotional campaigns for a diverse product mix that targeted both national and local markets, achieve brand goals, and deliver in-market results.
JOB EXPERIENCE:
We are looking for a sales professional with over 5 years of business to business sales experience in the field food flexible packaging who is highly-motivated and results-oriented, possessing a strong work ethic and a "can do" philosophy.
- Minimum 5 years relevant commercial experience (flexible packaging, artificial casing, flexible films, shrink bags for meat and cheese industry etc.),
- A self-starter able to work from his own initiative within set guide-lines.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent by experience) and five or more year (s) field experience in a similar role in the meat and/or food flexible packaging industry (work experience with artificial casing will be highly preferred).
• Meat science or master butcher education is a significant plus
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Fluent in English.
TRAVEL:
• Approximately 70% travel may be required
